Monday the Disability Musical

July 27, 2024 | Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater | 8 p.m.

Monday the Disability Musical, written, composed, directed by and starring Persons with Disabilities seeks to highlight the need to change the narrative around hiring people with disabilities.

Presented in a fun and engaging manner, this new musical shares the personal stories of individuals with disabilities, aiming to enlighten the public about the challenges, difficulties and prejudice that many are unaware the Disabled community faces.

Most importantly, the show brings these stories to life by giving them faces. The musical serves as a vehicle to humanize the statistics we frequently encounter, offering a distinctly human perspective on both Disability employment challenges and successes.

The production invites supporters, legislators, government officials, business owners, hiring managers, caregivers, parents and Disability professionals to see this remarkable musical, all of whom they hope will emerge as invigorated advocates.
