The Legendary JC’s started flooring Central Florida crowds with their brand of over-the-top, hands-to-heaven, fire-and-brimstone funk and soul starting back in 2000. Featuring ringleader and maestro Eugene Snowden, bassist Craig Cobb, drummer Anthony Diaz, B3 organist/electric pianist Andrew Rice, guitarist Roland Simmons, vocalist Katie Burkess, saxophonist Dr. Dave Skey and trombonist Clay Watson, the current lineup has been together since 2010.

Between Eugene’s spontaneous, off-the-cuff improvisational style and the band’s flavor of southern gospel funk and soul, their shows have garnered the band repeat performance slots at NOLA Jazz Fest late-nights, Florida Music Festival, Macon’s Bragg Jam, Orange Blossom Jamboree, DeLuna fest and countless others. The band has performed opening slots for BB King, James Brown, Dr. John, Reverend Al Green, The Black Keys, Bad Company, KC and the Sunshine Band, Toots and the Maytals, JJ Grey & Mofro, Cowboy Mouth, Tab Benoit, Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Johnny Lang, Robert Randolph and countless others.
