LA-based pianist Paul Cornish and his trio blend piano jazz with the rhythms of soul, R&B and hip-hop influences. A prolific and sought-after jazz prodigy, Paul placed as a finalist in the prestigious Herbie Hancock International Jazz Piano Competition along with performing with top artists Joshua Redman, Snoh Aalegra, HAIM, KNOWER and Kanye West. His notable collaboration with Terrace Martin on the Grammy-nominated EP NOVA is a standout.

Bassist Jermaine Paul has performed with Macy Gray, MC Hammer, Dianne Reeves and Gerald Clayton, while drummer Jonathan Pinson’s resume includes stints with Kamasi Washington, Seal, Moses Sumney and Terrace Martin. Together, this talented trio’s groove-driven sets hit all the right notes in the modern LA jazz scene.
