Known for his introspective folk-pop and worldly perspective, singer-songwriter Josh Rouse has built a career that spans almost 25 years, reaching back to his acclaimed 1998 debut Dressed Up Like Nebraska and breakthrough albums 1972 and Nashville. Of Josh’s hook-laden melodic pop and lyrical vignettes, Paste Magazine says, “his knack for setting a simple feeling to a breezy melody shines through again and again.”

Based part-time in Spain, Josh’s worldly influences shines through in the feel of his newer work, with subtle shifts in rhythm and phrasing that give the songs a1970s Mediterranean feeling.
